Any recommendations for a new one? Want a really good one I can use in the oven or on the BBQ next summer.

Fortunately the pizza was ok and is yummy.

I got mine at a Pampered Chef party - its brilliant, use it all the time, it holds the heat really well. You can use a terrace paving slab I believe but they are a bit cumbersome.....

I've found a rectangular stone from them, but it doesn't say if it can be used on a BBQ. Anyone know? Or any other ideas?

Thanks

tesco granite chopping board or from wilko, £10. Can be used as a pizza or bread stone. Not sure about the Bbq though but at £10 it's not so bad if it cracks.

My DH uses them a couple of times a week for bread baking, so they can stand 2-3 hours at high temps. One cracked after a year but the other two are ok.
Watch out for the rubber feet - obv need removing before you use them! [hgrin]

Thank you Bela, have found a big wilkinsons near me I didn't know was there, so a win all round!

Will go and get as they look just the thing. It will be used a lot for bread baking so perfect.
