My ginger bread men are still going worng - going rock hard break teeth hard after 30 mins - what am i doing wrong

did I post the original recipe? is it my fault?

Well I would say 30 minutes is too long, try 20 and leave them to cool on the tray

Is your mum still working at a well know Derbyshire confectionary factory? Would she send me a bag of mis-shapes do you think?

sorry don't cook for 30 only 20 - but after leaving for 30 to cool they go rock hard.

what chocolate you after? and i'll find out what she can get

um... well then I would say put in less syrup and cook for 17 minutes
