pasta in a microwave?

My cooker is broken and won't be fixed until Thursday :(

The only hot meal ds will eat is pasta pesto (long story). This might be a stupid question but can I boil pasta in a microwave???

I'm thinking you boil some water in a kettle and then put in a pyrex dish, add pasta, cover with clingfilm and then cook until soft??? It's either this or toast again...(will not eat cereal or sandwiches)....

putting pasta and boiling water in a tupperware container with the lid on cooks pasta....bout 20 mins!
