250ml.

You can't just convert - grams are mass and cups are volume so there is a different conversion rate for each thing.

Grockle · 14/10/2010 19:36

What do you want to convert?

EccentricaGhoulumbits · 14/10/2010 19:39

2 3/4 cups flour

1 cup vegetable oil

2 cups sugar

1/4 cup orange juice

1 cup wallnuts

any ideas? s it convetable? or is it possible to find a cup measurer somewhere?

A cup is the same as 8 fluid ounces. Got any baby bottles lying around? Or a measuring jug will do.

Grockle · 14/10/2010 21:08

300g flour
235ml oil
450g sugar
60ml juice
80 grams or so of nuts - I'd have a look and see what looks right.

Thanks

I went through my US/ UK cookbooks. I lived there for years and had to convert lots of things since I cannot cook in cups.

site is useful www.dianasdesserts.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/tools.measures/Measures.cfm

Ooh, that's very useful.

Thank you.
