my first shepherds pie

Making Shepherds pie for the first time tonight (eeek!) and altho i have a recipe i remember seeing athread about it not sdo long ago but can't fnd it now!

Also what on earth do u serve it with!!!!

I would serve it with a light green veg like french beans or brocoli because it's quite stodgy and needs a light sidey. Or else a side salad would be nice with it.

my lazy shepaerds pie includes sprouyts and carrots and pes in the pie yum yum

just get out the oven and scoop

Yes - I hide loads of veggies inside the pie too

Broccoli and/or peas would be good though.

it was fab!! turned into something quite strange tho, i put baked beans in thinking my 2 yo would prefer it but put too much in, used brown sauce instead of worcester amd had rosemary mash on top
i forgot peas in the pie so had them on the side instead so that worked out quite well!!!!!

i liked it and ds liked it (dh moaned )
soooo i will be making that one again!!!!
