I cooked a stew last night and there's some left over. I made it with beef stock cubes and also salted (not much). would it be ok to give her some as a one off or better not?
thanks

I think there is too much worry about salt in homemade, the portion would be so small that the salt would be fine plus if your careful with other meals then its ok.

Salt has always been in homemade if you look back in history, our grandparents wouldnt of worried about it and they were the healthiest generation. Its the readymade market that has gone overboard and caused all this fuss.

Really no need to stress yourself out over wholesome good food particualy if your careful throughout the day.

What bacon said.

Plus, we use the kallo low-salt stock cubes as the norm for the whole family and don't add salt when cooking casseroles. Really, we don't miss the salt.

I'd definitely recommend you try them, and then you don't need to stress.

I think that's fine - she won't be eating a huge amount and it's not somthinjg she has every day.

thank you. gave her something else in the end but good to know for next time. IsItMeOr I normally use the low-salt (or very low salt) but I didn't have any left and found some old 'normal' ones in the cupboard
