Toad in the hole

Would like to give DD, her friend and DS toad in the hole tonight, but don't know how to scale down the batter to a sensible amount. The only recipe I have has 100g flour, 300 ml milk and that is going to be way too much - isn't it?? I have a bit of a phobia of throwing out food, too...

The two girls are five and have healthy appetites, DS is 2 and less hungry, but can't see them eating a portion aimed at 4 adults. And I have leftover Indian takeaway to finish up later on.

I was going to ask why you were not eating it to but then I saw about the leftover Indian takeaway - Yum!
How many eggs does your recipe use?
It is basically a Yorkshire pudding batter so you could probably find a suitable recipe to scale down. Provided you have a small enough dish to cook it in of course.
You could even keep some batter in the fridge for a day or so and use it to make pancakes or Yorkshire puddings.

One egg needed. Of course you are right - batter can be transformed into pancakes for breakfast! Post first, think later, that's me!

or you could make some small Yorkshires with any leftover batter and freeze them

I would say freeze them, or pancakes for pud, i've never found the mix to look very nice the next day kind of grey.
