Hi - don't have much time as picking up DD from club in 10 mins. Once we get home, I need something really speedy to whip up and have lost all desire to 'cook' something for the bin......again.

They are very fussy (8 & 5).
Fridge has:

cheese
eggs - won't eat omlette
veg
pasta
creme fraiche
potatoes
bread
salmon - iffy they'll eat it.
baked beans - iffy too

see the problem?? Sad

thanks in advance

pasta with creme fraiche and salmon. chuck some veg in too

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 05/10/2010 16:16

I would just do cheesy pasta - make a cheese sauce with the creme fraiche heated and grated cheese stirred though. DS wolfs this down.

luciemule · 05/10/2010 16:17

ds won't eat cheese sauce!
DD won't eat tomato based sauces!

think actually I'll give up.

Oh good lord you poor thing.

Will he eat cheese grated over a potato? If so then do those with veg on the side.

Fimbo · 05/10/2010 16:20

My super quick tea is pasta with grated cheese on top or on a separate plate.

minipie · 05/10/2010 16:21

Eggy bread plus veg. (Ok not a recognised meal but quick and easy)

FerminaUrbinoDaza · 05/10/2010 16:21

Scrambled eggs on toast and some smoked salmon. Done.

PestoEatsPastiesandSurfboards · 05/10/2010 16:25

Pesto pasta

of course Wink

veg on the side

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 05/10/2010 16:39

Yum eggy bread. With baked beans - extra yum.

Pesto pasta is great, but the OP didn't say anything about having any pesto Grin

par boil spuds and veg. Chuck in oven with a drizzle of oil and chunks of cheese. You get crunchy and gooey.

taffetacat · 05/10/2010 17:01

dippy eggs with carrots and broccoli to dip in

cheesy toast on the side

luciemule · 05/10/2010 17:22

no need to worry anymore - bought 2 fish pies at the co-op! Cheated completely but obviously adding veg Wink

what a complete waste - they ate the carrots and sweetcron and nearly wretched when I told them it was fish pie. Oh well - they'll be off to bed hungry.

School club nights are a naus - ds comes home early and wants his tea there and then but I have to keep him going until dd gets back. It's so hard having two fussy eaters who both dislike different things!!!
