URGENT HELP NEEDED - Delia's Christmas cake

...is in my oven, and has been for 3 hours. It looks ready and skewer tests clean, but Delia says it will take at least 4 hours.

Do I pull it out? I've never made fruit cake before - am I missing some vital trick?

I had something similar I think. It burned! If it seems ready then take it out.

Mind you if it's still in now it's prob burned!

Is yours a fan oven though Astrophe? These cook stuff a lot lot quicker.

I had this same problem last year - I took it out before the recommended time and it had dried out a bit. I have a fan oven too.

Will reduce the time this year!

Take it out.
All ovens are different.
