Soup Storage

Hello,

Tomorrow I am making a vat of lentil and bacon soup.

Can anyone advise how long it will keep for in the fridge and also how best to freeze it? I usually use those individual foil containers for each portion of extra other stuff I do and defrost them as required but not sure these will work for soup.

Thanks

I either use foil containers or I portion it out into sealable plastic bags.

I portion mine into the Zip lock bags and then freeze them flat on a tray then when they are frozen they are perfectly flay and really easy to store, just make sure you squeeze out any air thats in the bag.
