hey, im trying to cut down on my, almost, daily, food shopping.
so, what meals can i make?
im trying to meal plan!
im going to do an online shop every 2 weeks, so i need 14 meal ideas!!
help?

Shepherds Pie + veg
Fish Pie + veg
Chicken Pie + mashed potatoe + veg
Steak & Kidney pie + homemade oven chips + veg

Current favourites in our house are:

leek and pea risotto;
Pasta arabiatta;
veggie sausage casserole and baked potatoes;
Homemade wedges, corn on the cob and veggie sausages or burgers - lazy day!;
cheese and potato pie and vege;
lentil chilli and rice or baked potatoes or wedges;
chick pea curry and rice or chapatis;
soup, bread, cheese, pudding and custard;
big pan of roasted root vege with veggie sausages and savoy cabbage, maybe stuffing or yorkies;
paneer curry with bread and channa chaat;
pasta pesto and salad;
Spanish omelette and salad.

That's a fabulous list, and you've not even included the regulars that I serve whenever DS has a friend round:
Fish fingers, potatoes, vegetables
Sausage mash and beans,
Pizza crudites and salad.

Is it not quite radical to go from daily food shopping to fortnightly? Why did you decide to go 2 weekly rather than weekly?

I ask as after 6 months, I have a weekly plan under control. I don't think I could do fornightly.

Tuna-cheese wedge melt, mixed veg
salmon fish cakes, broccoli, carrots
smoked mackerel kedgeree, flat breads
lemon roasted chicken thighs, cabbage, chunky potatoes
scrambled tofu with toast
honeyed lentils, rice
lentil sloppy joes, corn cobs and chips
baked potatoes with baked beans and cheese or creamy shredded chicken and mushrooms
root veg and barley stew with crusty bread
curried split pea soup, bread, crumble/cake and custard
spicy black eyed peas and rice
refried bean and cheese quesadillas (using leftover black eyed peas)salad, tomato and avocado slices, sour cream
macaroni cheese with peas and brocolli
tomato mince pasta bake, green beans, carrots.

All of the above are very popular in here.
