Delicious (cold!) food for a christening - ideas needed pls!

I have to feed about 22 adults and 9 children - but due to the location/timing issues, I need to have cold food that I can prepare ahead of time and leave out for about an hour until the ceremony is over....

I was thinking about coronation chicken, green salad, french bread...but need some other ideas because I'm not a great salad aficionado.

Can you recommend your best salady ideas please - it's an october christening, so am hoping that it's not going to be too cold because I haven't got any way of doing hot food!

Thanks

How about cherry tomatoes, baby mozarellas and black olives in a pesto dressing?

Winter coleslaw with finely shredded red cabbage, apple and carrot, seasoned with a sprinkling of caraway seeds and toasted sunflower seeds, dressed with mayo/greek yoghurt mix.

Crisp lettuce with crisply fried bacon crumbled into it, with sliced mushroom, grated parmesan and garlic croutons?

Fennel and oranges sliced really thinly and layered with fresh mint is lovely but may be a bit summery.

Trad potato salad is always popular: small potatoes with chopped spring onions or chives in mayo or olive oil and herby dressing.

Home made quiches or chicken pies.

A whole cheese with biscuits or crusty bread looks great, decorated with grapes or figs or redcurrants

Dips with tortillas
