Hi, I'd like to find a recipe for spagetti bolognese made from scratch. I've only ever made it with the jar of sause before.
My Dad is comming to stay with us soon and it's his favourate. All the recipes I've seen contain red wine. It sounds really nice but is it suitable for my 5.5 year old daughter? She won't eat very much of it.
If it's not suitable then please let me know. I'll find a recepi without it. Thanks. Smile

absolutely fine. the alcohol cooks off, and the sauce will be all the richer for it.

Yes, because you'll add it near the start so that the alcohol burns off and only the flavour is left.

People on france regularly give watered down red wine to kids as a drink and they have much less of an alcohol problem than the brits do.

I have been putting some red wine in spag bols for year (since kids would eat it age 2_ so I really wouldn't worry. You need to add it and let it simmer away and reduce
