Hi everyone :)

HAve been talked into taking part in this to raise funds for my friend's dd's school.

There are 4 couples taking part & two of the others are very organised! I have heard on the grapevine that they have themes & it's just dawned on me today that we'll be expected to have one too!

Just tonight we've been told our turn is Saturday coming... we are first to go :(

DH is the chef in our house so he's pouring over cookery books at the minute!

Any ideas for a theme/food/both!

I had thought of famous hollywood couples, 'when we were young' or something jokey, but have no real idea of what to do!!

HELP!! please :)

OOh, now - ideas?

What could you incorporate into a bond theme?

Obviously I could wear a very glam dress & serve Martinis?

Choose a letter of the alphabet - what's your surname, maybe that letter? Or the initial of the school? Fancy dress and food could be under that theme.

How about a Mexican theme? Sombreo's, Moustashes... Ponchos! All the food could be Mexican (which is pretty easy to cook, quick and tasty!) ie, Quesadillas, Nachos, Taco's, home made Guacamole, Enchilada's etc! Then the jolly bit of having a couple of rounds of Tequila's! Wink

Ugly bug ball. Dress as a butterfly. Have insect-themed hors d'oeuvres. Pin the sting on the wasp etc. Well it worked well as a child's party.

Do spies, and go as Mata Hari. Eat onion soup and ration the silk stockings.

Or super heroes (invent your own). But beware of anyone coming as the invisible man. He's not there.

Or cats.

Ah, you've chosen Moulin Rouge - sounds good! I'd have said Mexican, like JudyPink. Both food and costumes are pretty easy.
