my DD has just started reception, and was previously in a full time private nursery, where she was fed tea! Now that is my job (as well as holding down a full time job!) So, I am running out of ideas, currently it is a stream of ham sandwiches, cheese, fruit and nuts when she gets home from school.. any other ideas?

ritz crackers and cheese
oatcake and philadelphia
flapjack
yoghurt
pancake

Nothing wrong with a limited choice though.

Omelette - plain, cheese, ham, mushroom, spanish with mixed frozen ver

Poached eggs on toast, baked beans and egg on toast.

Soup and toast

All the above could be followed by fruit

jacket potato with cheese, beans, tuna or ham?

scrambled egg on toast wth grated cheese on top, my 3 love this.

jacket potato? Crikey, that would be tea not a snack

thank you all for suggestions! have used a few this week, it is just a case of judging how hungry or not DD is.. currently filling freezer with meatballs in tomato sauce and beef stew to defrost at later stage.. tricky stuff this after-school world!
