Storage for home made soups containing cream

My friend gave me a shed load of tomatoes, so I am about to make cream of tomato soup.
The cream is not suitable for home freezing, so does this mean I cannot then freeze my soup?
TIA

Freeze the soup without cream.

Then add it when you defrost.

Saves room in the freezer too.

Is this the only way then?

yes its what I do.

if you freeze it with cream in, it will go all lumpy when you defrost it. Cream is always better added at the last minute anyway.
