Freezing fresh cream

Is it possible to freeze fresh cream? The tub says no but I thought I'd read somewhere it's ok to freeze double cream.

Anyone know/tried this, please

It does but the best advice is to whip it first then its Ok. Or turn into ice cream!! There are simple no churn methods.
