calling all breadmakers does anyone out there care for a sourdough starter?

im reading (secong time round as its sooo good) as recomended on here the river cottage bread book and its bloody good i want to start my own starter has anyone else done this? if so what do you keep it in? as im at a bit of a loss on what sort of size container to use. Any recomendations would be great thanks

I keep mine in a glass with a bit of clingfilm over the top, on top of my fridge (eye-level so I remember to feed it, see!)

I made it a couple of years ago.

Ooh i want one! I have the river cottage book and LOVE it (and am always banging on about it on here Blush ). I've been meaning to make a sour dough starter for ages but haven't. Am watching with interest and Envy ...have lent the book out or i'd play along. Grin
