snacks for after school

What snacks do you give your dc's after school?

We usually have tea/dinner at 5.30-6pm because of after-school clubs, which suits us and i know lots of people eat a little bit earlier.

I need ideas for healthy snacks, I made fairy-cakes yesterday as a treat and there are home-made banana flapjacks for this afternoon. And always plently of fruit here. dd1 (12yrs) tends to have a packet of crisps on her way home from school.

Piece of baguette with grated plain choc in it. I know it sounds weird, but it's quite standard here, and it's what dd gets for her tea before study period between lessons and dinner. It's nice too, a little choc goes quite a long way, and it's a lot better than crap like nutella. She's a weekly boarder btw.

Small bread roll. Sometimes schoggiweggli (which is small bread roll with chocolate chips in).
