white hot chocolate powder

I have a whole can of the stuff.
We don't like it as a drink, but not against white chocolate per se.
Has anyone any ideas of how I could use this in baking etc ???

TIA

What about in raspberry or strawberry muffins?

Or you could use it to dust the top of fruit tarts?

muffins - that's a thought, thank you

Can you make some sort of icing/ ganache with cream?

BellaBearisWideAwake · 13/09/2010 20:16

I read this all wrong, I thought 'how can chocolate powder be white-hot??'

Now I want some!

Me too! What brand is it?

3seater · 14/09/2010 21:30

Whittards, it is very sweet.

I'd use it in a cake recipe too, sub half the sugar in a banana bread for that maybe?

BertieBotts · 15/09/2010 00:11

I've got some of the Whittards one too. It's nice occasionally but a bit sickly.

Then I'd definitely pair it with something fairly tart, like the raspberries or strawberries I suggest above. You can always take some of the sugar out of the muffin recipe to compensate.

thereistheball · 15/09/2010 08:42

Or put it in a cheescake!

I had a can of that stuff once - I found it sickly as hot chocolate but nice if I added some instant coffee to make a white choc latte- type thing.
