Just being nosey really. Could do with some inspiration.

I am making mine right now as I live in Australia. I have made lemon chicken and a friend recommended dipping the chicken in egg and then in cornflour before chucking it in the wok and it worked really well.

we are having chicken curry, rice and naan breads.

Pizza (takeaway) .

Did make a very nice pasta dish last night with leeks, mushrooms, bacon & a splash of cream - quick, easy & tasty - just bits I had left in the fridge.

Is it curry night for most of you?

We're having meatball stew tonight. It is a firm favourite here, quick and easy too.

I was planning to make jerk chicken but you are all making me want a curry

Oh, and we will be drinking wine. It's been a long old week.

Kids are having roast chicken and salad stuff - It's curry night for DP and I, the only night we eat seperate from the kids

Steak, salad and frozen potato round things. Ready made chocolate mousse after. Wine inevitable. Last night we had spare ribs and fried rice.

We are having Chilli and rice.

bangers and mash! with peas and sweetcorn!

Honeyed lentils with crusty bread for scooping, followed by hm apricot and ginger loaf.

Last night was lemon sole with lemon and parley butter (although I am veggie I'm trying to get the dc to widen their eating abit as they don't eat enough pulses etc)

Tonight will probably be Quorn sausage in a bun with salad but it may be just a picnic tea as ds has only just started school and he'll be bushed. I'll have a bean and tomato soup later.

molly You'll need:
2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
Olive oil
Pack of meatballs (store bought or home made. I use a pack of 20)
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, chopped (or you could crush them)
1tbsp rosemary, chopped
560ml passata
Frozen peas, handful
Frozen sweetcorn, handful

It takes 20 mins to cook and feeds 4 and we usually have some tiger bread with it too.

So then, you boil potatoes for 10 mins until tender.
heat oil in a frying pan and brown off the meatballs, then set aside.
Add onion, garlic and rosemary to the pan and fry for abou 5 mins.
Add passata, simmer, then add meatballs. Simmer for 5 mins or until cooked.
Add potatoes, peas and sweetcorn and simmer again for another few minutes.
DONE

was supposed to be doing moules frites but can't get out to get the moules now :(
