Random veg soup

I have been saving and freezing left over cooked veg with the idea of making them into a soup when I have enough. So far I have runner beans, cabbage, and carrots and onions in a honey and mustard sauce. My idea was to add a couple of potatoes at some point then blitz. Will this work or will it just be a disgusting disaster?

Should be fine - maybe add some veg stock?

Thank you. Will def add some stock. Am looking forward to seeing how it turns out actually!

Not sure about the honey and mustard, but generally random veg soup tastes fine even if it looks a funny colour.

Yeah, I was worried about the honey mustard. Was with chicken originally, all the meat got scoffed leaving a lot of sauce and veg. It's quite sweet so might arse up the soup completely. Maybe should leave out...

I would leave it out and I wouldn't blitz until I'd tasted it first. Sometimes if you put lots of random veg in its better broth like with chunks of veg rather than thick and pureed and kinda browny green. Depends how you like your soup of course....

I wouldn't mind it broth like, but as I'm keen for it to go for the whole family, and ds is veg-averse, I'd prob blitz it with some cream. Will def leave out the honey/mustard bit though.
