Can I freeze this?

I froze the jelly stuff which came out of the chicken when I roasted it.

Now I'm boiling up the carcass to make soup.

If I add the defrosted jelly stuff to the soup, can I then re-freeze it in portions/

I'm thinking no because it's been cooked already, but then, it's only a small quantity of jelly stuff...

Would you?

I would do, I've always put it into the pot with the carcass BUT I don't know if you should! We've never been poisoned so far, and surely if you boil it, cool quickly, freeze and reheat it to piping hot it should be ok?! HTH Smile

I'll tell you if we're all ill afterwards Grin
