Would you eat takeaway pizza that's been left in the fridge since Sat night...?

I am thinking no.

ds1 is sad! He was not impressed with my chickpea dinner...

Stick with the chickpea dinner (sounds interesting). Pizza from Sat is rather elderly now. I think any cold pizza isn't too good though - it goes so hard and chewy.

cornishblue · 06/09/2010 17:44

yes, thoroughly reheated, unless it has prawns or other seafood on it

CurlyhairedAssassin · 06/09/2010 17:46

Yuck, I can't stomach reheated takeaway of any kind. I think it's because you don't know whether it had already been reheated once in the kitchen it was originally cooked in.

boak....

never what? never eat 2 day old pizza Grin

Lauriefairycake · 06/09/2010 17:53

It's reheated bread, tomato and cheese Confused

It's not going to go off in 39 hours in a properly cold fridge!

Of course I'd eat it

unless its got suspect looking bits of meat on it - in which case I wouldn't have eaten it fresh never mind re-heated Grin

Hmm I am unsure. It's a Pepperoni Passion.

I do agree that it is just bread and cheese and tomato....

Only 2 days old? Kept in the fridge?

No problem, healthwise. Whether I'd want to is another matter Grin

Tippychoocks · 06/09/2010 17:56

It's fine if it has been kept in a fridge.

Saying that, I would not give it to DD but I would eat it myself (not just cos I like pizza but because I am more careful with her Grin)

goodmanners · 06/09/2010 17:57

oh i am only being overcautious because the bits on it could have been dating in the takeaway shop for days before it was made into a pizza.

redhappy · 06/09/2010 17:58

eat it! Smile

goodmanners · 06/09/2010 17:59

Princess if its a peperoni watsit i would eat it because i love peperoni but whether i would risk on dc i dunno as i hate having to mop up midnight sick.

redhappy · 06/09/2010 18:03

Having worked in a pizza kitchen, and knowing how long the ingredients keep I would say it would definitely be fine.

Totally up to you though of course

DilysPrice · 06/09/2010 18:08

In a fridge, absolutely - what's to go off? Hell I eat them the next morning even if they haven't been in the fridge (but I wouldn't let the DCs do that).
Pepperoni is designed to last forever, and their cheese will have been in the fridge.

Tortington · 06/09/2010 18:08

no

goodmanners · 06/09/2010 18:09

ok now redhappy has posted i completely take back my post - EAT IT!!! ENJOY IT and DONT SICK IT UP Smile

princessProudmel · 06/09/2010 18:10

He really wants it...!

OP posts:
goodmanners · 06/09/2010 18:15

if in doubt chuck it out.

TrillianAstra · 06/09/2010 18:16

I would!

As you say it is just bread ad tomato and cheese and pepperoni, all of which I would eat if they had been in the fridge since long before Staurday.

LastOrdersAgain · 06/09/2010 18:18

I'd eat it, and I don't ever bother to keep it in the fridge Blush

LastOrdersAgain · 06/09/2010 18:20

And I'm never ill, just to add!

usualsuspect · 06/09/2010 18:20

I would eat it
