Preferably with not too many ingredients, doesn't take too long and is idiot proof.

TIA :)

How about stuffing it in a compost bin? No? Ok. Well if you insist...

Half length ways. Scoop out the middle and set aside. Score the flesh a bit. Rub with olive oil, season, stick in a hot oven for ten mins or so to get the cooking going and drive out some of the moisture (marrows can be very watery).

While it's in saute the middle you scooped out with some onion and garlic. Be generous with she olive oil. Pop a slice of bread in the toaster. add whet ever tasty things you like to the pan, eg, chilli, herbs, mayber some smoked paprika, a squeeze of lemon or lime, or a splash of nice vinegar.Take off the heat when cooked. Add some cheese, feta, parmesan or cheddar in order of preferance. Stuff in to your marrow, don't pack too tightly. Crumble the toast with some more cheese and pepper or other flavours if you like. Put it on top. Back in a slightly cooler oven for fifteen or so.

Pack of sausagemeat (1lb - or sausages taken out of skins) small pack of sage and onion stuffing (dried stuff like Paxo) and 1 egg. Mix together.

Cut marrow into rings and scoop out seeds. Place on a baking tray and fill with sausage mixture and bake at about gas 5, til they look done (Confused 20-30 mins)

Mmmmmmm nom nom nom (believe it or not!!!)
