I'm making paneer. What can i do with the whey? If i re-cook it will it be like ricotta?

I once got a can of peach flavour pop from a machine in austria and it turned out to be whey...i can give that a miss ta.

Also either my phone's never heard of whey or i've spelt it wrongly all the way through this post. Smile

You can use whey as the liquid in making bread.

Ah! Stressedhemum! I knew you'd come to my rescue! Grin .I've just got a loaf rising now (rye Wink )...will the whey keep till monday do you think? My gmil just popped in and said they used to use it for scones and that it was called blue milk.

Does the bread taste different?

I think it would
we used to drink it

Keep it in the fridge and it should last till monday. It makes very nice rye bread, actually. Also makes lovely soda scones.

The bread doesn't taste different, really, no, perhaps just a little bit richer than when you use water.
