Looking for three courses, just me cooking, ok on skills but def need some things prepared in advance, lacking inspiration and have some irritating constraints

  • one guest dangerously allergic to fish and seafood
  • one guest hates anything tomatoey (shame as I have a greenhouse full of them)
  • we had chicken last time
  • I hate olives

Inspiration please for a single dish or the whole caboodle!

for starters I've done herb salad which i dress then put grilled goats cheese on each plate at last minute. A typical main course for me is baking duck legs in hot oven 40 mins as they go really crispy and delicious with no effort. Served with roasted new potatoes say and green beans. Or if weather cool enough i love doing a stew a day or two ahead as always so popular, get better with keeping, and no effort on the day as just heat it up. An easy pudding i like is frozen berries blasted in magimix at last minute with cream and icing sugar as like homemade icecream and again little effort. This may all be too simple as I have a 3 year old and not much time!

slow cooked lamb. Always a winner and everyone asks for the recipe. Never managed to get the onions though!
