My DS is off nursery with a cold and I don't want to go out to the shops if he unwell and he loves lazing in bed anyway, so for tea I have a few simple ingredients which need to be used: pork sausauges, onions, mushrooms, eggs, baked beans, ham, cheese and cucumber can I make anything with these? I thought of a hot pot or something?... hmm

If he's not well I think I would keep it simple - you can get a few different meals out of that lot - a ham, cheese and mushroom omelette with baked beans on the side.

Then maybe a toad in the hole for another meal using the sausages and a flour batter mix, with an onion gravy.

Or you could do a sausage casserole, but most of the ones I know involve cannelini or borlotti beans and chopped tomatoes.

Ham and cheese soufflé? Not too complicated and sort of nice and soft and comforting.
