do NOT put salmon in it - kitchen will stink for days and every time you turn on the machine (however hard you clean it) when it heats up the whole house will stink of fish

scotlou · 31/08/2005 11:53

I LIKE salmon in mine! Cooks so fast - and kids eat it. Don't like cleaning it after doing bacon as it always seems to stick.
For some reason mine always smells of grilled tomatoes - no matter how much I clean it.
We got a George Foreman steamer free with ours - love that too!

Springchicken · 31/08/2005 11:54

Everything, Steak, chicken fillets, pork loins, salmon fillets.

George gets used virtually every day in our house. Definiately a good buy

albert · 31/08/2005 12:22

Blimey, what on earth is a George Foreman? It hasn't made it to Italy obviously.

Kelly1978 · 31/08/2005 12:47

dust.

A griddle pan is much better! GF grill was a waste of space for us.
