We only have quite a small freezer so I haven't used it for much other than peas and ice cream till now, but want to get organized and start using it properly.
I made a double batch of chicken casserole yesterday. I left the casserole on the side to cool - 2 hours later it was still hot, but at this point I put it in the fridge, so it's been there since yesterday late afternoon.
Everything I read says to cool it quickly then freeze immediately. Is it still ok to freeze or did I leave it too long?
