No need to use Progress (it's only on sale because it means the formula companies can advertise it, advertising first milk is illegal).

Just try her on cows' milk when she's one.

Wait another couple of months and you can put her on cow's milk. No need for folloew-om IMO.

I agree with HunkerM and Aloha but I found that my DS started waking in the night for a feed again when we switched to cow's milk so now we're on a mixture of cow's and follow on as it seems to fill him more. I'm gradually reducing the formula cos I'd prefer him to have cow's but I needed my sleep and so did DS as he'd also started walking so had lots of business to see to during the day!!

Just something to think about

if you really wnat to use progress do so now... its suitable form 6 months and has more vitamins etc per ml.... so they get it 'all' in a lesser volume of milk as they drink less milk as they are eating more food.

I have to agree its just so that manufactures can advertise their milk.... in a few weeks (about 8) Cows milk will be fine anyhow, so youll probably only need a few tins anyway!
