I love the stuff!! It's so quick and easy to make and the DCs love it too. I make a pot of it most Fridays and it lasts over the weekend. Here are what I make most often:

Lentil soup
Broccoli and Stilton
Courgette and Tomato
Vegetable
Cock-a-leekie (yes, I'm Scottish!)
Occasionally celery

I'd like to add to my repertoire. Anyone got any good ideas?

Also, about soup etiquette ... in our house, we dunk the bread in the soup and mop it up. We definitely don't tip our soup bowls away from us! I think this is old-fashioned etiquette - what do you think? Would you dunk your bread in the soup in a restaurant??

Don't like siggy bread, so wouldn't dunk at home or abroad.

The ones I make most often are:
lentil and coconut milk
barley and vegetable
leek and potato.

My blender has died, so I'm hoping people will post you some lovely ideas for non-blended soups on here!

soggy not siggy - must stop trying to multi-task...

I make a red onion and roasted butternut squash soup which is delicious. Nicked the recipe from a friend, 'tis gorgeous.
