how do you make your chilli? there are so many different ways of making it i thought we could see how many variations there are heres mine:
500g of mince
2 tins of chopped toms
tomato puree
garlic puree
onion
peppers 2 of differnt colours
mushrooms
chilli powder-medium, 2 tins of kidney beans
first chop your onion, peppers and mushrooms
fry in a little olive oil until softened
add mince and fry on a low heat until browned
add tins of tomatoes, garlic puree to taste and a squeeze of tomato puree
put in chilli powder to taste
add kidney beans 5 mins before serving
ENJOY!
we have ours with rice or jacket potatos and with a big ceaser salad-a supermarket bought one!

Pretty similar although would use fresh chillies, some cumin,a spoonful of cocoa powder and perhaps some sugar or sweet chilli sauce (even tomato sauce) to round it out.

Serve with a good dollop of sour cream or thick youghurt.

Also fresh garlic.
