Corn beef hash comes out greasy/oily

is it possible to make a corn beef hash that isnt greasy? or is that just the nature of the dish?

Mine isn't! Tin of corned beef with fried onion, bit of green pepper. Fry to a crisp and cook eggs on top. Yum!
