How do you store your baking ingredients?

I just seal the bags with clips and put them in the cupboard.

However, I am fed up of the mess my cupboards get in and was thinking of some storage jars, but they need to be big enough to hold at least a bag of flour and be able to fit into my cupboard.

So how do you store yours and are there any good sized storage containers around?

I use large kilner type jars , they have a good seal. I think I got mine from Ikea but they're available all over the place.

Plastic containers of varying sizes. Square shaped fit well in the cupboard, as opposed to rounded. I cut the label off the original packet and stick it on the container.

Weigh and save shops usually have a good range of plastic jars with screw top lids in a variety of sizes.

At the moment I have a number of plastic catering jars that had Kenco coffee in. Flour I have a Lakeland jar that has a space at the side for a scoop - only problem is that every so often they take it out of the catalogue.

I also use the glass kilner type jars, tesco do a good range of sizes. Wish i'd bought square jars now though because they would be easier to store in the cupboard Smile
