Well my oven just died....

I need a built in double oven - I am looking at this Zanussi oven and wondered if anyone else has a Zanussi oven and what do they think of it.

Or, please suggest an alternative if you know of a good one.

I have a Neff double oven and have done for the past 4 years. My only complaint is that the grill is no good. I think this is a fault with alot of foreign make ovens. If you don't use that part of it very often then I shouldn't worry about it.

Thanks Fifi - I must admit that I do not like the electric grills. My last double oven was an Electrolux and every time I use the grill it sets off the smoke/heat sensor in the next room!

Yes, that's part of the problem with having the grill in the oven. When being used normaly the grill element gets dirty so that when you switch it on to heat up it then smokes like buggery because there's mess on it. There should be a better way!!

We have an oven and hob in one. The oven is distinctly dodgy and as we don't have a microwave, we bought ourselves a microwave and convection oven combined. So far, we're loving it although we've only had it for a couple of weeks. It heats up wonderfully quickly, seems to have good accurate temperatures etc. I haven't tried the grill though so I'm not sure about that. The grill in our old oven is relatively good so I haven't felt the need.

Have just been to Wickes to take a look at it. It seems nice - and the doors open without falling off which is a definite plus to me (door fell off old one)!

We got a Sharp. The panasonic is nice too but a bit smaler.
