how far in advance can i make sponge cake?

Wouldn't risk any more than the day before usually , but it would depend on who I was serving it too. Mine get eaten same day.

I always make mine the same day, but I'm sure it would be fine to make it the day before. I just don't have any cake-sized air-tight containers
