Can you/would you freeze brie cheese?

I have been given about half a big wheel of brie, as it is only me in the house this week and all close friends/neighbours are away I have no one to share it with.

Would you freeze it?

What would you cook with it after defrosting?

Freezy cheese... Sounds a bit unappetising somehow. I suppose pizzas get frozen and they have cheese on. Is it ripe? It'd keep for a little while in the fridge.

the use by dates are only for the h&s brigade and as you know across the channel they like their brie v v ripe lol
but yes it can be frozen in well wrapped pieces/whole and i would prob use it either baked thru for dipping into.. think those mini whole camembert starters here
or use it sliced added to gratins,chicken breasts etc

I read that as "would you febreeze cheese" ... it's late, my eyes are fuzzy
