Had a bbq last night and I put jacket potatoes in oven to bake - switched it off when they were done but drunkenly forgot about them til now.

Would you eat them?

yep they'll be fine.

USually nicer the next day.

Vermdum · 25/07/2010 19:25

Sure thing!

Just make sure that no drunken bbq quests got any meat fat or anything on them somehow......

BertieBasset · 25/07/2010 19:25

Yes def - agree very nice next day!

theyoungvisiter · 25/07/2010 19:25

they might be a bit overcooked but they'll be totally fine in terms of being safe.

Eat. Enjoy.

They will be scrummy!
My favourite thing to eat when dh is out is cold jacket potato in half spread with butter and marmite!

JuicyLips · 26/07/2010 13:39

fine Id say. go for it.

i'd scoop the middle out for soup or potato/fish cakes or something. Then turn the skins into stuffed potato skins to dip. Yum yum! We do extra baked spuds just for this reason!
