According to Lorraine Kelly's recipe book you could try
4oz (125g) plain flour
2oz (60g) butter
2oz sugar

Hope that helps

An easy way to remember it, whatever the qunatities you want to make, is 'half fat to flour' - and sugar is the same as the fat.

I add a bit of cinnamon to mine, yum

And you can use any variations of those flours and sugars. I like it best with soft brown sugar.

I use half oats and half flour (brown) and use brown sugar tastes so much better than using white flour and sugar slight toffee taste... am known to throw in muesli or chopped nuts -- but not raisins as they can burn..

if you whizz it up in the moulinex thingy you can add oats. Gives it a lovely texture. Yummy.
