Tuna - how long will it last?

Yesterday I made a tuna and bean salad then put the remaining half in the fridge with a plate over the bowl.

It was supposed to be lunch today but I forgot I had agreed to go out for lunch. Will it still be ok to eat tomorrow?

It will be fine tomorrow. Canned tuna is cooked to death and well-pickled. It'll look a little grey but, if it smells fresh, go for it.

Thanks for that, Chil
