Sorry this is a bit of a sad question.....but, does it matter if you make sarnies the night before and keep them in the fridge?! Will they go all horrid and soggy?

I am starting a new job and need to get a bit more organised.

My husband says they are fine so long as you don't cut them in half?!

As I said, bit of a sad Q!

That's what my mum did (and still does for my dad) for years and years and years.

I think it depends on what you put in the sandwiches.

I make dd's ham sandwiches up the night before if she has a packed lunch. I cut them into triangles and put them into her sandwich tub and put them in the fridge. She hasnt complained so far.

It depends on the filling...any thing with cucumber or tomato goes too soggy. I make dc's sandwiches the night before, they have either ham or cheese. I make mine on the day usually have marmite & cuc.

Thanks everyone!

We're ham and cheese eaters too so should be fine!
