Badgers Golden Glory.

Got it by chance to take to a BBQ and it's heavenly

ooh. Will look out for it! I'd recommend copper dragon's golden pippen too.

OrmRenewed · 20/07/2010 08:21

THanks. Will have a look

Clearly not many proper beer drinkers on here.

Not tried either, but just marking my place as a 'proper beer drinker'. Going to the Great British Beer Festival in a couple of weeks, woo!

OrmRenewed · 20/07/2010 10:38

Excellent moose

BTW I meant 'proper beer drinker' as in 'drinker of proper beer' not a 'drinker of beer who is proper'.

Have a few proper beers for me!

I love the badger beers, but Ringwood are my favourite. Boondoggle is particularly good if you can get it.

WowOoo · 20/07/2010 10:51

I've tried that before. it is very nice, very fruity if I remember correctly.

deepdarkwood · 20/07/2010 10:52

Meantime - esp their IPA - is a favourite here....

OrmRenewed · 20/07/2010 10:53

OK will try that one pushmepullyu.

If you are looking for a lovely slightly hard to get hold of beer try Exmoor Gold. V nice. Can't get it all the time even round here.

Oh, it's delicious, Golden Glory. Yum.

Do you like Wells' Banana Bread Beer? I love it.

Good to see some other real ale fans.

thislittlesisterlola · 20/07/2010 17:27

lemonny cricket by badger is also one to try. Its really good.

Butterbur · 20/07/2010 17:40

Mmm I will look out for that one. Badgers Golden Champion is my current favourite.

MoonFaceMama · 20/07/2010 21:54

Oh this thread is making me thirsty for ale! Have remembered a holiday romance with daleside's summer ale. Oh for a beer. Skint so haven't been to a pub for ages...mostly contenting myself with homebrew.

VoidofDiscovery · 21/07/2010 13:09

Ohhh, 'tis lovely, like apricots.

PortBlacksand · 21/07/2010 13:16

Sounds like i would like it - i love Hoegaarden and that's quite apricot-ish.

TrillianAstra · 21/07/2010 13:18

Oooh yes, it's fantastic, Tesco have it on 4 for £5 at the moment. All peachy and lovely.

cyteen · 21/07/2010 13:23

I used to live over the road from this shop.

It was heaven.
