Aren't they usually available by now?

The monsters on our allotment are coming to the end of their season - we've been eating them for the last 3 weeks, and some of them are starting to flower.

Got some on my allotment too - and I have never seen the point of them.

I haven't seen any this year, either. Don't know what's happened to the crop but they don't seem to have been in the shops much
