Need a quick answer regarding white wine please

Just wondering does white wine have a sell by date ? i know red wine ages well but what about white wine? Have bottles of wine ranging from 1999 - 2007 . Should i throw them out ? We rarely drink wine but have friends coming over tonight & i was going to open a bottle but worried about poisoning them .

You won't poison them! Some age better than others - chill them and taste before serving. Some may have survived. Cheap bottles from 1999 probably won't do so well but you could still use for cooking. Have a lovely evening.

Thanks babbit , have sent dh out to buy a few bottles just to be on the safe side but i will put a 2005 bottle of chardonnay in the fridge in case stocks run low . Thanks for your reply .
