Am making a Winnie-the-Pooh cake for DD's 3rd birthday, I need a Wilton colour called Pooh Gold which I can't seem to find in the UK, I could get from US but don't know if it would get here in time

Anyone? I will buy off you or borrow and return!

TIA

CD - not heard of that colour over here, but I made a WTP cake for a christening recently, and to get the right 'pooh' colour I mixed peach and yellow paste colouring into white fondant icing until I got the desired effect, not too difficult at all.

You can get it here - my mum is just checking her cupboard now to see if she has any left that you can have.

If she hasn't then I could always get some for you from the local shop she uses.

oh fantastic thanks StG - I have search the web but can only find in the US and our usually very good local decorating shop doesn't have it for some reason!

A Piece of Cake (Cake Decorating Equipment) Cake Decoration 18-20 Upper High
Street, Thame Oxon OX9 3EX Tel: 01844 213428

these were quite helpful but not knowing whether you want roll out icing or colour to add to white made me sound like a nutter
Give them a ring and they will help

Doh!... I would have a go at mixing the right colour. And if it's wrong, people remember it all the more (this is me remembering a friend's black teletubby cake a couple of years back - hehehe)
