Can you freeze new potatoes? Going on holiday for a week & have a load in the fridge.

They'll be fine in the fridge for a week... Place in a bowl rather than plastic wrapping so that the air can get around them. Freeze potatoes and they will go black.

Ooo, do you just pop them in the oven to heat up again? Do they get a bit soggy?

well i just let them defrost tbh then reheat in the oven in the same way as left over roasties
they're not soggy imo
