It makes an even better breakfast if you've had a drink the night before.

now you see i never heat mine up as i generally have a curry and fried rice and worry you should not microwave the rice to heat it back up - am i wrong? In my days in the TA we used to take our chinese back to barracks after a night out and put leftovers under the bed and eat for breakfast cold which allowed us not to have to get up so early to trunddle to the mess for brekky - them were the days

Oh yeah, we call it "the lunch of kings"! We get loads and portion a leftover plate out immediately so you end up with a good mix left over.

I think heating rice is fine as long as you refrigerated it straight away after eating and make sure it is really hot all the way through.

god i want a chinese now!!!!

mamalovesmojitos · 11/07/2010 20:12

i know, i've heard reheating rice is dodgy, but i make sure it is heated all the way through as badgermonkey says. never had any problems!

now stashing my satay under the bed, that's a whole new low .
