Someone just said to me in real life (so this isn't a thread about a thread!) "Don't worry - all the issues you're worried about with a Conservative Government happened 13 years ago - things change. Wait and see"

The problem is that the things I'm worried about are fundamental Tory policies, values and mind set. If they changed it wouldn't be the Conservative Party any more, and all their voters would have been conned!

why are you worried about that

if you don't think they are going to be put in action why would you worry about them

you are seriously concerned that a lot of people with values you hate may have been conned if the government does this right? even though if they have not been conned the government will you feel be doing things wrong?

how noble

backtotalkaboutthis · 13/05/2010 08:37

i mean, talk about trying to find things to whinge about

"we don't want the tories they're awful"

"but they might not be awful this time"

"well then all the people who voted for them on the grounds they're awful will be let down"

But I don't see why you are leaving MN because od that

DramaInPyjamas · 13/05/2010 08:55

Why are you flouncing MN if it happened in RL?

seeker · 13/05/2010 09:43
