I have hidden them and the topics, it's like ripping off a plaster. Do it fast and it doesn't hurt.

Click on it, don't read. Hide.

I have hidden News.

But what good does it do when they post in Chat? and AIBU?

I need to see the heading to hide it.

I do think it would help not to have to open a thread to hide it. Somehow I think if I right-click I'll get a hide button. It never works. Good luck with house and neighbours, QS.

Sometimes you do just have to step away from the forum to gain perspective.

Discussion can be good, the sharing of anecdotes and experiences uplifting and reassuring but sometimes aspects of peoples thoughts on certain subjects and the way they're expressed can really affect you in a negative way.
